GridWise Audit is a free electricity plan comparison tool for the deregulated areas of Texas. We aggregate publicly available plan data from licensed Retail Electric Providers (REPs) and present it in a searchable, sortable format. We also provide educational content about Texas electricity markets, rate trends, and provider information.

GridWise Audit is not a Retail Electric Provider, broker, or aggregator. We do not sell electricity, process payments, or facilitate enrollment in electricity plans.

The inclusion of any provider or plan on GridWise Audit does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee. Plans are displayed based on publicly filed data, sorted by published rates unless the user applies different filters. We do not receive compensation from electricity providers for plan placement or ranking.

Content on GridWise Audit is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. Choosing an electricity plan involves personal factors (credit score, usage patterns, contract preferences) that we cannot evaluate through a comparison tool alone. Consult with a qualified professional for decisions involving significant financial commitments.

GridWise Audit contains links to third-party websites, including electricity provider sign-up pages, Electricity Facts Labels (EFLs), and Terms of Service documents. These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites. The GridWise Audit name, logo, website design, and original content are the intellectual property of GridWise Audit. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Plan data displayed on the site is sourced from public records and is not proprietary to GridWise Audit.

GridWise Audit is supported by advertising revenue. Advertisements may appear alongside plan comparison tools and educational content. Advertising placements do not influence plan rankings, sorting, or filtering in any way. Ad content is managed by third-party advertising networks and is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

GridWise Audit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridWise Audit shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
